トランプ氏施政方針演説へ、「アメリカンドリームの再生」テーマ

[ワシントン４日ロイター] - トランプ米大統領は東部時間４日午後９時１０分（日本時間５日午前１１時１０分）、議会で施政方針演説に臨む。関係筋によると、ウクライナの鉱物資源権益に関する合意を発表したい考えだという。もっと見る

ホワイトハウスのレビット報道官は演説について「必見」と述べ、１時間を超える長さになるとの見通しを示した。

民主党は演説を大々的にボイコットする計画はないものの、クリス・マーフィー上院議員（コネチカット州選出）は「茶番」だとして出席を見送る。

ホワイトハウス高官によると、演説のテーマは「アメリカンドリームの再生」で、「世界の平和を回復するプランを概説する」ものになる。

ウクライナ戦争を終結させるほか、パレスチナ自治区ガザでイスラム組織ハマスに拘束されている人質の解放に向けた計画を示すことがトピックの一つになるという。

また、連邦政府機関の規模を縮小し、メキシコとの国境からの移民流入を減らし、関税を利用して外国に要求をのませるという、自身の取り組みを称賛すると見込まれている。

国内面では、トランプ氏自身による２０１７年の減税措置の延長を主張する可能性が高い。

トランプ氏のスケジュールを知る側近によれば、同氏は週末の一部をフロリダの自宅で過ごし、盟友で実業家のイーロン・マスク氏を含むアドバイザーらと演説内容を練ったという。

ホワイトハウス筋によると、マスク氏は演説に出席する予定だ。
