イスラエル、イラン核施設への限定的攻撃をなお検討=関係筋
[ニューヨーク １９日 ロイター] - イスラエルがイラン核問題を巡り、米政権から外交交渉を優先する意向を伝えられたのにもかかわらず、今後数カ月以内にイランの核施設を攻撃する可能性を排除していないことが分かった。イスラエル当局者と事情に詳しい関係者２人が明らかにした。
米国とイランの交渉官らは１９日にローマで２回目の核予備協議に臨む予定。
イランの核武装阻止を目指すイスラエルは、ネタニヤフ首相がイランとのいかなる交渉も同国の核計画の完全廃棄につながるものでなければならないと主張している。
イスラエル当局者によると、イスラエルはこの数カ月、トランプ政権に対し、イランの核施設への攻撃に関する選択肢を提示してきた。その中には、春の終わりから夏にかけて実施されるものも含まれている。攻撃案には空爆と特殊部隊による作戦の組み合わせが含まれ、その想定破壊規模はイランの核兵器化能力を数カ月から１年以上遅らせるものまで幅があるという。
米紙ニューヨーク・タイムズは１６日、トランプ大統領が今月初めのホワイトハウスでの会談でネタニヤフ首相に対し、米政権はイランとの外交交渉を優先したいと考えており、短期的には同国の核施設への攻撃を支持するつもりはないと伝えたと報じた。
しかし、イスラエル当局は現在では、当初提案した攻撃よりもはるかに小規模な攻撃であれば、米国の支援をあまり必要としないと考えているという。
