[ワシントン４日ロイター] - トランプ米大統領は４日夜に上下両院合同会議で行った施政方針演説で、ホワイトハウスに造船局を新設するほか、造船部門に対して新たな税制優遇措置を提供する考えを示した。

ウォールストリート・ジャーナル（ＷＳＪ）は先に、トランプ政権が米国の造船業を復活させ、世界の海事産業における中国の支配を削ぐことを目的とした大統領令を準備していると報じた。

ＷＳＪによると、大統領令には、中国製の船舶やクレーンが米国に入港する際の料金を引き上げるなど１８の措置が含まれる。

中国は世界最大のコンテナ船生産国。
