［ワシントン ４日 ロイター］ - ラトニック米商務長官は４日、ＦＯＸビジネスに対し、トランプ大統領がカナダとメキシコと関税を巡り妥協案をまとめる見通しで、詳細は５日に発表される予定と語った。
ラトニック氏は「きょう一日中、メキシコとカナダの当局者と電話で話していた。彼らはもっとうまくできることを示そうとしており、トランプ氏が耳を傾けている」と述べた。
「大統領は彼らと何らかの結果に至るだろう。（関税賦課）休止とはいかないだろうが、もっと努力するなら妥協案をまとめるだろう。おそらく、あす発表する」と語った。
