米アップル、3月にｉＰｈｏｎｅを駆け込み空輸インドから

［ニューデリー　１５日　ロイター］ - 米アップル(AAPL.O), opens new tabの「ｉＰｈｏｎｅ（アイフォーン）」の組み立てを請け負う台湾・鴻海精密工業(2317.TW), opens new tab傘下の富士康科技集団（フォックスコン）のインド工場などが、３月に過去最高額となる計約２０億ドル相当のｉＰｈｏｎｅを米国に出荷したことが分かった。米トランプ政権が提案した関税導入前に航空便で輸送したという。

ロイターが入手した通関データによると、アップルのインドでの主要サプライヤーであるフォックスコンは、３月に１３億１０００万ドル相当のｉＰｈｏｎｅを輸出した。これは単月としては過去最高で、１月と２月の合計輸出額に匹敵する。

フォックスコンのインドから米国への今年の総出荷額は５３億ドルに達した。

別のサプライヤーであるタタ・エレクトロニクスの３月の輸出額は６億１２００万ドルで、前月比約６３％増となった。

アップルはインドでの生産を増強し、最大市場の一つである米国で十分な在庫を確保するため、貨物チャーター便で６００トンのｉＰｈｏｎｅを輸送した。トランプ政権の関税導入によりコスト上昇への懸念が高まったためとみられる。
