ＥＵのウクライナ軍事支援案、イタリアとスペインは支持に難色

[ブリュッセル１７日ロイター] - イタリアとスペインは１７日、ウクライナへの軍事支援に今年最大４００億ユーロ（４３６億７０００万ドル）を拠出するという欧州連合（ＥＵ）の提案について、現時点で支持する用意がないとの姿勢を示した。

提案はＥＵ外相に当たるカラス外交安全保障上級代表が行ったもので、実現すれば、ＥＵのウクライナ軍事支援は昨年の約２００億ユーロから倍増する。

１７日にブリュッセルで開かれたＥＵ外相会議の後、カラス氏は、提案は「広範な政治的支持」を得ており、現在詳細について議論していると述べた。

外交筋によると、提案は北欧や東欧諸国から強い支持を得る一方、ロシアから地理的に遠い一部の南欧諸国は消極的な姿勢を示している。

イタリアとスペインの閣僚は会議前に、この提案について明確な立場を取るのは時期尚早だと述べた。

イタリアのタヤーニ外相は、提案は今後の動向を踏まえて深く議論する必要があると主張。「停戦に向けた前進があるかどうか、トランプ米大統領とロシアのプーチン大統領の電話会談を待っているところだ」とした。

スペインのアルバレス外相は「議論がどうなるか見守るが、現時点では何も決定していない」と語った。
