米ナスダック、24時間取引導入へ米株需要高まり受け

[７日ロイター] - 米大手証券取引所ナスダック(NDAQ.O), opens new tabのタル・コーエン社長は７日、交流サイト（ＳＮＳ）で、２４時間取引を導入する計画を進めていることを明らかにした。世界的な米株式への需要高まりに対応する狙い。

米株の需要は、金融リテラシー向上やオンライン取引環境の整備を背景に近年急増している。

コーエン氏によると、同取引所は既に規制当局との協議を開始しており、平日２４時間取引の導入を２０２６年後半にも見込んでいるという。

２４時間取引の導入により、時差のある米国外の投資家からの直接投資を呼び込み、取引量増加や市場の流動性向上につながると期待されている。

コーエン氏は「世界的な米株需要の拡大により、わが市場は投資家の門戸を広げる重要な瞬間を迎えている」と指摘した。
