[サンフランシスコ１１日ロイター] - グーグル親会社の米アルファベット(GOOGL.O), opens new tabと半導体大手エヌビディア(NVDA.O), opens new tabは、複数のベンチャーキャピタル投資家とともに、人工知能（ＡＩ）の新興企業セーフ・スーパーインテリジェンス（ＳＳＩ）への出資に動いている。事情に詳しい複数の関係者が明らかにした。

ＳＳＩは対話型生成ＡＩ「チャットＧＰＴ」を手がけるオープンＡＩの科学責任者だったイリヤ・サツキバー氏が共同創業者で、設立から数カ月でＡＩ研究開発分野では最も企業価値の高い新興企業の１つとして台頭してきた。ＡＩの発展において次の「大波」に関するサツキバー氏の予想実績がその理由だ。

ロイターはアルファベットとエヌビディアの詳しい出資条件を知ることはできなかった。両社とＳＳＩはいずれもコメントを拒否した。

複数の関係者によると、ＳＳＩはグリーンオークスが主導した最近の資金調達ラウンドでは企業価値を３２０億ドルと評価されていた。

アルファベットは先に、大規模なＡＩモデルの学習・推論に最適化された自社製の演算処理装置「ＴＰＵ」をＳＳＩに供給する契約を結んだと発表している。
