中国はＡＩ開発で「自立と自己強化」に取り組む＝習近平主席

[香港２６日ロイター] - 中国の習近平国家主席は２５日に開かれた中央政治局会議の集団学習会で、中国は人工知能（ＡＩ）を自前で開発するために「自立と自己強化」に取り組むと表明した。国営通信の新華社が２６日報じた。

習氏は、中国が「新たな全国一体の態勢」を活用してＡＩ開発を推進すべきと主張。「われわれはギャップの存在を認識し、技術革新や産業発展、ＡＩを応用した包括的な推進に一層務めなければならない」と訴え、政府調達や知的財産権、研究開発、人材育成といった分野で政策支援を行う考えを示した。

また「基礎研究を引き続き強化し、高性能半導体や基礎的なソフトウエアといった中核技術の習熟に注力し、独立しつつ管理可能で、かつコラボレーション可能な、ＡＩの基盤となるソフトウエアやハードウエアを構築しなければならない」と指摘。ＡＩの安全性、信頼性、制御可能性を確保するために「リスクの警告や緊急対応システム」を構築し、ＡＩに関する規制と法律の整備を加速すべきだとも述べた。

中国発のディープシークが１月に低コストのＡＩを発表し、専門家の間にはＡＩ開発で米中の差は小さくなっているとの見方も出ている。
