[北京/台北１７日ロイター] - 中国政府は１７日、米国務省が台湾独立を支持しないとするウェブサイト上の記述を削除したことに対し、米国に「誤りを正す」よう求めた。

国務省が１３日に更新した台湾に関する最新のファクトシートでは、「われわれは台湾独立を支持しない」との記述が削除されていた。国務省はサイトの定期的な更新の一環と説明した。もっと見る

外務省の郭嘉昆報道官は、この変更は大きな後退であり、「台湾独立分離主義勢力に非常に間違ったメッセージを送るものだ」と批判した。

「これは米国が『中国を抑えるために台湾を利用する』という誤った政策の新たな例であり、われわれは米国側に誤りを直ちに正すよう求める」と述べた。
