トランプ氏、スーパーボウルを観戦 現職大統領として初
[ニューオーリンズ ９日 ロイター] - トランプ米大統領は９日、南部ニューオリンズでナショナル・フットボールリーグ（ＮＦＬ）の王座決定戦、スーパーボウルを観戦した。現職の大統領がスーパーボールを現地で観戦するのは史上初めて。
長女のイバンカ氏や息子のエリックさんらと共にカンザスシティ・チーフスとフィラデルフィア・イーグルスの試合を観戦した。メラニア夫人は同行しなかった。
１月１日にニューオリンズの中心部で起きた車両突入事件の被害者の家族や救急隊員らと面会するためにトランプ氏がフィールドに姿を現すと、客席からは歓声とブーイングが沸き起こった。
トランプ氏が政府の「多様性、公平性、包摂性（ＤＥＩ）」プログラムを撤廃するよう圧力を強める一方、ＮＦＬは包摂性を推進する独自の取り組みを進めている。
ＮＦＬのロジャー・グッデル・コミッショナーは９日、ＮＦＬの多様性プログラムを縮小する計画はないと明言した。
トランプ氏はニューオーリンズに向かう大統領専用機内で、ＮＦＬの取り組みについては詳しく知らないと記者団に語った。
会場にはチーフスのトラビス・ケルス選手と交際中の歌手テイラー・スウィフトさんも姿も見せていた。
