オープンＡＩの印著作権侵害訴訟、財閥系などメディア多数が参加意向

［ニューデリー　２７日　ロイター］ - 生成ＡＩ（人工知能）「チャットＧＰＴ」を開発した米オープンＡＩを相手取ってインドで起こされているコンテンツ不正利用等の著作権侵害訴訟に、同国の財閥、アダニ・グループやリライアンス・グループのメディア部門などが参加の意向を示していることが、ロイターが閲覧した裁判所の文書で分かった。

訴訟は昨年、ＡＮＩ通信が起こした。裁判所文書によると、アダニ・グループのＮＤＴＶ(NDTV.NS), opens new tab、リライアンス・グループのネットワーク１８(NEFI.NS), opens new tabがニューデリーの裁判所に、裁判の原告に加わりたいとの意向を示した。このほかインディアン・エクスプレス、ヒンドゥスタン・タイムズ、ジーニュースなどの新聞やテレビニュースチャンネルなどが加わった。タイムズ・オブ・インディアは参加していない。

文書は、オープンＡＩによるＡＩ技術を駆使したデータ収集・抽出を「著作権に対する明白かつ現実の危険」と指摘した。

オープンＡＩは、インドを含む各国の報道機関と建設的なパートナーシップを結んでおり、ＡＩモデル構築に向け公正な利用という原則にのっとり一般に入手可能なデータを使用しているという従来の見解を繰り返した。

ＡＮＩが起こした訴訟の審理は２８日に行われる予定。
