スペースＸのＩＰＯ、イートレードが個人投資家向け販売役を獲得方向

[ニューヨーク３０日ロイター] - 米金融大手モルガン・スタンレー(MS.N), opens new tab傘下のオンライン証券イートレードが、実業家イーロン・マスク氏が率いる宇宙開発企業ス‌ペースＸの新規株式公開（ＩＰＯ）において、個人投資家向け株式販売で主導的役割を果たす方向で協議が進んでいる。事情に詳しい２人の関係者が明かした。

スペースＸが近く予定しているＩＰＯは過去最大級の規模になる見込みで、⁠個人投資家向けに最大３０％と、異例の大幅な株式割り当てが検討されている。

この個人投資家への販売業務を巡っては、ロビンフッド(HOOD.O), opens new tabとソーファイ（Ｓｏｆｉ）(SOFI.O), opens new tabも名乗りを上げているが、関係者によると、スペースＸは両社に業務を委ねない考えだという。

一方、イートレードの親会社モルガン・スタンレーは、スペースＸのＩＰＯ全体の主幹事金融機関の一角を占める‌見通⁠しで、イートレードを通じて米国の個人投資家に販売する相当量の株式を確保できるとみられている。

イートレードにとって、スペースＸのＩＰＯで中心的な役割を果たせれば、近年ロビンフッ⁠ドやチャールズ・シュワブなどと市場シェアを巡る競争にさらされてきた中で、大きな成果を得ることになる。

ただロビンフッ⁠ドとソーファイは、引き続き株式販売の一部業務を担えるように交渉を続けている、と関係者は語った。

また⁠関係者の１人は、資産運用大手フィデリティも、自社の取引プラットフォームを通じてスペースＸの一部株式を販売する役割を獲得することを狙っていると述べた。
